 BOOM! BOOM! Oh, hey there, my name is Boomer! You may have seen my entrance into the yard, or maybe not...My “little” brother really knows how to steal the show. So let me tell you a little bit about me while I have the mic! I’m a 10-year-old, going on 11, Newfie. I might be a big guy but I’m really just a big ole’ cuddle bug. The best thing in the whole world is getting butt scratches. I know how to perfectly back up so the humans can get to prime spots! When I’m not getting some love from my adoring friends, I’m working hard to keep an eye on my wild brother. Especially in these summer months my brother is a real pool fanatic so sometimes I need to play lifeguard on the pool deck. Once he finds a kiddy pool to relax in though I can be off duty. He insists on telling you himself though so here we go...
BOOM...BOOM... Woah is there an Echo in here? Oh yeah that's me! Echo here, now you may be thinking echo comes after a boom, but I don’t believe in coming in second. Now yes technically, Boomer has been coming to Lucky Dog since 2014 so he does have a whole 2 years on me, but he is 2 whole years older than me too! So, in dog math, it evens out. I am also a Newfie (take note of my silky black mane), and I definitely don’t believe in this whole “little” bro thing. I heard Boomer telling you about my pool obsession while he’s not wrong, he conveniently forgot that he can also be found taking long dips in the pool. But athletic swimming isn’t my only hobby, I am also a long-distance ball catcher. The Camp Counselors have commented on the “wicked awesome” catches I’ve made. If they gave medals for impressive catches, I’d have already taken home the gold. Now it’s about time I got back to keeping this party going, see ya!  WOOO WOOO! Calling all Lucky Dog Campers we have exciting news! My name is Riggs I’m a 6-year-old handsome red & white Husky and I’m ecstatic to say me and my brother Dash are this month’s Campers of the Month! I’ve been a member of this exclusive resort basically my entire life, since the summer of 2018. Dash and I are the life of the party here. Some people may say we get too rough but those people don’t know the joys of wrestle mania! Dash and I are professional wrestlers. We like to show all the other pups the joys of getting down on the ground to roll around. I always win though! Dash will say it’s because I cheat when I play bitey face, but everyone knows its all in good fun, plus it’s not like he’s never used those canines. Dash says I’m oversharing and it’s his turn to give his side of the story, so off to my sunning spot for a nice tan!
I heard my brother Riggs is giving a completely inaccurate account of our wrestling profession. I’m here to set the record straight! First off, I didn’t even get a proper introduction, my name is Dash! I’m a 4-year-old German Shepherd mix. While I may be the younger brother and I haven’t been coming here as long as Riggs (I have also been coming almost my entire life, 4 whole years!), I would argue I am knowledgeable of all things Lucky Dog. In addition to our successful wrestling careers, we’re also the resident bards on any given Tuesday. I would argue I am more on key then my lovely brother but, never argue with a Husky about singing you’ll never get a word in edge wise. I also have some solo hobbies including playing fetch with the humans. Some really need to work on their aim but that’s okay I’m patient and good about collecting the balls for them. As you can imagine we are bummed about the cooler weather being on its way out, as Riggs and I are made for snow activities but I can also appreciate some good sun bathing. I’ve been coming to Lucky Dog for almost six years. I’m a bit shy, but once we’re friends, I’m super sweet. Like a head in your lap, or a rub against your leg kind of sweetness. The staff here says I’m also super smart! I follow cues the first time, every time! Well- nearly every time… sometimes I get distracted by playing fetch. It can be hard to listen when I’m chasing a ball… but usually all they’re asking me to do is bring it back. Which I forget. Wait what were we doing?! Oh cool, it’s like magic they always have another ball! Well, it was nice meeting you, I better get back to my friends!"
