Iris (March 2024)

"Greetings! It’s lovely to meet you! My name is Iris, and I’m a seven-year-old rottweiler mix. I’ve been coming to Lucky Dog for almost six years. I’m a bit shy, but once we’re friends, I’m super sweet. Like a head in your lap, or a rub against your leg kind of sweetness. The staff here says I’m also super smart! I follow cues the first time, every time! Well- nearly every time… sometimes I get distracted by playing fetch. It can be hard to listen when I’m chasing a ball… but usually all they’re asking me to do is bring it back. Which I forget. Wait what were we doing?! Oh cool, it’s like magic they always have another ball! Well, it was nice meeting you, I better get back to my friends!"
